RFID Cat Feeders Face-Off: Petlibro vs Surefeed (paid links)
*Correction* – The Surefeed does show a blinking light when the battery gets low, but I don’t trust it as I know one of mine will stop working without warning. I’ve always preemptively changed batteries when I notice them slowing down, usually around 6-7 months.

Surefeed Unboxing:
Explore the ultimate solution for feeding your multi-pet household with a microchip feeder. I started with the Surefeed feeder a few years ago. It was an investment that I am SO glad I made as it has removed ALL the stress from cat feedings in our household. So of course I had to try the Petlibro when it was released. These each have their own pros and cons, but are both standout feeders that are truly a game-changer for you and your cats.

Which brand prevents another cat from bullying their head into the slow eaters dish at the same time?
I wish Petlibro offered an “open mode” like the Portion RX feeder, which could block access for unwanted tags rather than only granting access to the tagged cat. I have five cats, but only one needs a special diet. With Petlibro’s current system, only the tagged cat can access the feeder—meaning the only way to prevent him from eating other cats’ food is to buy five separate feeders, which is quite expensive. A mode that denies access to certain tags would be much more practical for multi-cat households managing dietary restrictions. That way I only need two feeders.
How many cats can get registered on the first one?
Thanks for the video!
Thanks for the great review! Does the petlibro work without the app? Wondering about how it would work when the pet sitter is at my house.
